University Projects

Discover a selection of high quality projects made as part of my coursework for the Manchester Metropolitan University as I take on a range of roles and responsibilities, demonstrating my talent in each area.

“Ay Mijo” Music Video Project

My very first university project, working as the Cinematographer on a music video was initially an intimidating prospect. I worked closely with director Cameron Summers to capture the warmth of a new relationship, as well as the coldness and isolation felt when things don’t work out. We learned a lot about the filmmaking process here and, a year on, I’m satisfied with what we produced.

“The Commonplace” Short

Again working as the Cinematographer, I took heavy inspiration from Analog Horror projects such as Kane Pixels’ “Backrooms” web series to create a mildly unsettling and uniquely aged look for this short film. This perfectly complimented Cameron Summers’ bizarrely funny script, and the entire project was a blast to work on.

“2 GUYS, 1 SANDWICH” Short

Co-writing this script is one of my favourite university experiences so far. I learned the perils of producing whilst working on this project, as our original locations and actors were not working to our strengths, so I and the others who worked on this project were forced to adapt on the fly, and the end result is a testament to our hard work and ability to work as a team.
